Mort was not doing well with his divorce. He caught his wife cheating. He’s an author who writes great books. He made up a person named John Shooter, who killed a lot of people around Mort. But really, it was Mort killing these people. After he killed neighbors, his dog, his ex-wife and her boyfriend, he was eventually caught when police searched under his growing corn in his backyard, and found 2 bodies. He was then sent to Van Dorsel’s, and has been miserable ever since. He hates it there, and he thinks that nothing is wrong with him. His plan is to escape as soon as possible.
